The 426-acre park was acquired by the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks starting in 1993. It is a stream valley park comprised of pasture, cultivated gardens, open fields, woods, hedgerows, orchards and wooded piedmont hills. The diversity of this habitat makes it an excellent area for wildlife.

Located just 2 miles north of the Baltimore Beltway, Graham Equestrian Center is easily accessible to everyone in the Baltimore-DC-Philadelphia corridor. It lies on the edge of Gunpowder Falls State Park and boasts many trails that wind down to the Big Gunpowder Falls, a favorite recreational area for park hikers, bikers, and riders.

Most people today know Hampton as a sedate Georgian mansion, elegantly furnished and settled amid gardens and shade trees. Built as a country seat just after the Revolutionary War by a prominent Maryland family, the house and its immediate surroundings are just a remnant of the Hampton estate of the early 1800s.

The Torrey C. Brown Trail, formerly known as the Northern Central Railroad Trail (NCRT) extends 20 miles, stretching from Ashland Road in the Hunt Valley area to the state line. The trail is 10 feet wide with a stone dust surface. The most popular activities on the trail are hiking, jogging, bicycle riding and horseback riding. The trail also provides access for fishing. Trail users should note that the southern end of the trail receives heavy use on weekends. Parking areas from Monkton south are often filled. The trail is less congested and parking is more available at the northern end during peak times.

Our facility has been owned and operated by Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks since 1969 and encompasses 1,043 beautiful acres. The park offers a variety of recreational activities, open to the public, all year round. Oregon Ridge has an accessible playground, posted fitness area and miles of hiking trails. Robert E. Lee Park Nature Council (RELPNC) is a membership based, volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the stewardship of Robert E. Lee Park. The Council works in cooperation with Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks to maintain, preserve and protect the natural environment and historic structures in the Park, providing a legacy for future generations. In addition, the nature council helps with various recreational and educational programs.  The main entrance to the Park is located at 1000 Lakeside Drive, Baltimore, MD, 21210. There is also access from the Falls Road MTA station.
